Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, and Human Resources Development, Shri Nara Lokesh, attended the grand finale of Andhra Premier League (APL) Season 5 as the Chief Guest at the ACA International Cricket Stadium, Mangalagiri, on 30th June 2026.
Shri Nara Lokesh inaugurated the title clash by tossing the coin and interacted with the players of both finalist teams, extending his best wishes and encouraging them to play the game in the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The APL Season 5 final witnessed an electrifying atmosphere as thousands of cricket fans gathered at the stadium to celebrate the successful conclusion of the tournament.
The final match was played between Bhimavaram Bulls and Simhadri Vizag Lions. Simhadri Vizag Lions posted 139/8 in 20 overs, and Bhimavaram Bulls chased down the target in just 9 overs without losing a wicket to register a remarkable 10-wicket victory and lift the APL Season 5 title.
Shri Nara Lokesh appreciated the efforts of the Andhra Cricket Association in promoting cricket and providing a platform for talented young cricketers across the state.
His presence at the grand finale added prestige to the occasion and marked a fitting conclusion to yet another successful season of the Andhra Premier League.
